When it comes time for the final phase of each turn, any character in a given lane will attack whatever is on its opponent side of the lane. On each turn, you’ll be able to spend sunlight (if you’re on the plant side) or brains (for the zombies) to play cards into those lanes.
When you look at the playing field, you’ll find your hero at the bottom, your opponent at the top and five lanes in-between. Zombies games on mobile, and Heroes is no exception there.
